My fondest Father's Day memory is making my Dad a felt tie and he wore it to church. How embarassing to wear a cut felt tie, but he did it. I was in 2nd grade and believe me it was not a good looking tie! :)
ReplyDeletesurprising my father as a kid with a fuzzy hair mirror- that I really wanted :-)

My fondest Father's Day memory is making my Dad a homemade card.
ReplyDelete2008 was my husband's very first Father's Day after we had our first son so he was a very happy daddy already. But, being huge NASCAR fans, our favorite driver won the race on Father's Day after having a very long losing streak so my husband was over the moon that day!

ReplyDeleteHaving lost my dad, I would have to say every Father's Day I had with him is a fond memory.
ReplyDeleteI always made him cards and he acted like they were masterpieces. He kept every card I ever gave him and when I cleaned out his house after his death, there they were. <3
